DESCRIPTION:
One car was destroyed and a house heavily damaged after a New Years Eve accident Saturday night. Nobody was injured in either the car or house. The driver of the car didn’t stop at the “T” intersection and drove head on onto the house. Captain Altadonna (36C-1) was first to arrive and reported heavy intrusion into the house. Chief 361 arrived shortly thereafter and assumed Wattsburg Rd Command. Rescue 368 and Tower 369 both responded to the incident and were on scene for more than an hour. Due to the damage the house needed to be shored using both a Hurst Tool and wood planks before the car could be removed. Millcreek Police took the driver of the car into custody at the scene.
