Rescue 368 Goes To Brookside Pin-In

DESCRIPTION:
Brookside FD was dispatched to a two vehicle MVA with entrapment around 4:30 Thursday afternoon. Upon the arrival of Deputy Chief Carpin (250) he special called for Rescue 368. One person was heavily pinned inside an SUV that ran into the back of a tractor trailer. Rescue 368 along with Utility 367 worked with the crews from Brookside to to extricate the seriously injured victim. Several hydraulic tools needed to be utilized for the extrication. The victim was transported to Hamot by Brookside EMS crews. PSP was on scene investigating. Weather may have contributed since it was snowing at the time of the accident.
