Station 44 was dispatched to an investigation for a possible lightning strike early Sunday morning as a severe thunderstorm swept through the area. A few minutes later the full alarm assignment was dispatched for a structure fire. First arriving units reported smoke showing from the roof and found a working fire in the attic. Handlines were stretched by crews from Engine 442 and Engine 362 and made a quick knockdown.
