Evening MVA with Entrapment

DESCRIPTION:
A two vehicle accident on the curve just south of Glenwood Towers injured one person Thursday evening. Witnesses say a pickup truck lost control rounding the curve hitting a mini van. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. The lone injured occupant of the mini van was entrapped for a short time. Rescue 368 was out of service that day so Perry HiWay Rescue 428 responded along with Engine 362. Crews removed both driver side doors to make the extrication. The patient was transported to Hamot Medical Center. The driver of the pickup was not injured. Millcreek Police are investigating the accident.
