Car Hits Building During Busy Monday

DESCRIPTION:
After losing its brakes coming down the Henderson Rd hill, the driver of a mid 70's Ford LTD lost control and jumped an embankment then smashed into the end of a storage building causing significant damage to the building. A firefighter at the station heard the crash and rushed to the scene with Truck 367 to render aid. The driver wasn't injured but was evaluated by EMS. Rescue 368's crew checked the damage to the building and determined it was safe. Millcreek Police were on location.

Just as the rescue company was leaving they were dispatched to an EMS call. This was the sixth call so far on a busy Monday. So far today we have been dispatched to two vehicle accidents and four EMS calls.
