BVFD Assists Brookside at Rollover Accident

DESCRIPTION: A one vehicle accident a little before 7:00 on Shannon Road in Brooksides district required the help from BVFD. A special call for Rescue 38 was made by Brooksides ambulance. Due to Rescue 38 being out of service, Engine 32 & Truck 39 responded with the rescue cache. The vehicle rolled several times before coming to a rest off the road and down an embankment. The seriously injured female driver was entrapped for a short time before being freed by all responding agencies. LifeStar helicopter was requested to the scene but was cancelled due to the quick extrication.
