TYPE: Motor Vehicle Accident

DATE: March 31st

LOCATION: 5500 Blk New Perry Hwy

DESCRIPTION: The driver of a pick up truck suffered minor cuts & scrapes after he lost control while driving on New Perry Hwy. The pick up went off the road and went over a guardrail then hit head-on into a tree. The truck suffered heavy front end damage but the driver was able to get out on his own. Rescue 38 arrived and secured the vehicle as Emergycare's ambulance crew checked the driver. Engine 31 was also responding but was put in service by command. The driver declined transport to the hospital. Rescue 38 was in service in less than a half hour. Millcreek Police were investigating the accident.
