Fire Alarm Turns Into Electrical Fire

LOCATION: Perry Highway & Johnson Rd

DESCRIPTION: BVFD was dispatched to assist PHHC with an engine and tower at a residental fire alarm. Soon after the inital dispatch it was changed to a possible structure fire. First arriving PHHC units reported nothing showing. Crews from Engines 71, 73 and Tower 30 investigated and found the house having electrical issues. It was reported that sparks had come from the fuse box. Crews found no fire extension. Engine 32 stood by for a possible water supply. Penelec was called to the scene. All apparatus were back in service in an hour.
