TYPE: Vehicle Accident With Entrapment

LOCATION: 4800 Glenwood Park Ave
DESCRIPTION: Belle Valley was requested to the scene of an accident that the Erie FD's Engines 12 & 6 had originally been sent to. Initialy reported as being at 41st & Glenwood Park Ave in the city, the accident was actually found in Millcreek in the 4800 block. Engine 12 arrived to find a 2 vehicle accident - car vs tractor trailer - with heavy damage and one person trapped in the car with the dashboard collapsed onto him. BVFD was requested to respond. Upon our arrival Chief 360 was instructed to be the extrication officer and all crews worked together to remove the front doors, take off the roof and roll the dashboard. The patient was removed from the the car and transported to Hamot by Emergycare.

TYPE: Vehicle Accident - Assist Brookside

LOCATION: Shannon Rd & Bayfront Connector
DESCRIPTION: Rescue 38 responded to assist Brookside FD at a 2 vehicle accident with rollover while returning from the earlier accident. Upon arrival they found a Jeep Grand Cherokee laying on its driver side. Occupants from both vehicles were all self extricated and not complaining of any injuries. Rescue 38 reamined on scene until Brookside ambulance arrived. PSP were investigating.
