Several different remembrances took place throughout Erie all day long. Members and apparatus from Belle Valley FD proudly participated in a couple events on Sunday.
The first event was the 9/11 Memorial - 10th Anniversary Service at Perry Square in downtown Erie. The early afternoon event was put on by the 9/11 Memorial Committee. The committee is putting together plans to build a memorial in Erie with a recently acquired piece of steel from the World Trade Center.
