Firehouse Served As A Cooling Center
BVFD was asked by Millcreek EMA to open as a cooling center both Thursday & Friday. The station was open to anybody that needed relief from the recod breaking heat. Temperatures reached into the upper 90's with a heat index over 105 degrees.
Several people stopped down Thursday to cool off in our air conditioned building.
Cold drinks were also provided along with TV and a comfortable place to sit and relax.
