BVFD Earns Fire Education Award
Congratulations to Fire Prevention/Education Division members Ray Bauer & Dave Nientimp after winning second place in the Fire Education Award category this year at the Erie County Public Safety Awards Dinner. The dinner was held Friday April 8th at the Franklin Township FD Social Hall.
Ray and Dave have run the Fire Prevention/Education Division for several years. Every year they spend countless hours going to schools, nursing homes, apartment building and business to help educate the public on fire safety.
Again this year they put together a book depicting all the programs they held. That book will be sent to the state to be entered into a state wide contest.
We would also like to congratulate Kuhl Hose Company for taking first place in the Fire Education Award ceremony.
