BVFD To Staff Firefighter Museum
In an effort to help the staff of the Erie Firefighters Historical Museum, members of the Belle Valley FD will work at the museum in mid August.
Staff members of the museum work long hours to keep the facilty up and running. They have asked area departments for some help with staffing the museum for the summer.
The museum has thousands of items from the 1800's right up to today on display. Part of the front counter is the cab of the original Truck 30. Other items include hand pumpers, uniforms, box alarm systems, SCBA, patches and so much more.
Plan on taking a tour of the museum this summer. BVFD will be there staffing the facility on August 14th & 15th. Admission is just $4.00 for adults, Senior Citizens & Firefighters are $2.50 and Children (ages 6 - 12) is only $1.00. Hours are June through August Saturdays: 11am - 4pm Sundays: 1pm - 4pm.
