Several BVFD Firefighters Attend Butler County Fire School
Nine firefighters from Belle Valley attended the Butler Co Fire School this past weekend. The classes were held at both Slippery Rock University and Butler County Community College.
Several classes were offered for the fire school, with BVFD firefighters participating in Arson Detection, Liquified Firefighting and Truck Company Operation.
A wide array of fire departments from western Pennsylvania were on hand for the school. Erie County had several on hand including BVFD, Brookside, Edinboro & Lake Shore.
The BVFD group included firefighters Kyle Swain, Chris DiCarlo, KJ Larson, Matt Rzodkiewicz, John Krahnke, Lt. Rob Gilbert, Lt. Joe Ramsey, Lt. Josh Ely and Chief John Semple.
