BVFD Welcomes Back Marine Reserves
BVFD Tower 30 along with West Ridge Tower 10 both were on hand on Monday March 31st at the Reserve Training Center on Old French Road to welcome home reserves from the 4th Marine Division Truck Company. Both aerials were raised and made an archway for the buses to ride through.
While on the way to the event, both Towers 30 & 10 responded to a semi fire on I-90. Go to the Recent Calls page for information on that.
While in Iraq, the unit provided security for 7-ton convoy trucks. They also hauled ammunition and other equipment to other bases.
Several family members and friends of the reservists were at the Center to welcome them home.
