Adopt a Hydrant
Please Adopt A Nearby Hydrant So It Doesn't Look Like This!
With the large amount of snow on the ground from our latest blast of snow, BVFD is asking for your help. If you have a hydrant near your house please take time to clear the snow away from it. The few minutes it takes you to help us could mean the difference between life or death. The extra few minutes it takes the FD to dig out a hydrant means it takes that much longer to get additional water to the fire. Just think that house may be yours! Maybe you or a family member is still in that house!
