4 BVFD Memebers Participate in RIT Training
Four Belle Valley firefighters participated in RIT training this past weekend alongside firefighters from Perry Hi-Way, Brookside, Edinboro, Kuhl Hose, Fuller and West Lake FD's.
The 16 hour course taught students how to search and rescue a downed or missing firefighter. Self rescue and safety procedures were also went over. Several senarios were executed throughout the weekend.
The class was hosted by Perry Hi-Way and was taught by Mike Petrone, Joe Petrone and Kip Hayford.
